ABA All Kids First has been “enhancing children’s potentials” since 2004. Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based therapy model based on the behaviorist theory of B.F. Skinner. When a child is evaluated for ABA, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst will consider the child’s physical, cognitive, language and academic development. If therapy is recommended, an individualized program is established to target the child’s missing skills by breaking them down into achievable milestones. The particular skills targeted are guided by the best available research, clinical expertise, and client values and context. Each client works on his or her goals in a one-on-one setting, where a clinician can fully focus on the unique interests and learning style of the client. ABA has been shown to be effective in reducing behaviors and improving cognitive and self-help skills for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
